RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., June 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) Chief Operating Officer Susie White received the San Bernardino County Medical Society's (SBCMS) 2025 President's Award during its annual Installation of Officers and Award Recognition Dinner in Victorville on June 26.

The award is given to an individual who is committed to the organization's mission and purpose through health education, research and the protection of public health, among other contributing factors.

"This recognition is truly meaningful because it allows me to not only showcase my successes, but IEHP's as well," said White. "My story is just one of many, but its roots run deep and are 'watered' by a strong commitment to serve others through initiatives tailored to create lasting change in the Inland Empire."

Outgoing SBCMS President Dr. William Jih selected White for the award because of her transformative work in prioritizing a values-driven team culture and empowering health care professionals and patients.

"Susie White and her leadership at IEHP are the model of quality health care, and we are grateful for her dedication and pursuit of excellence," said Jih. "She has built a career from the ground up by constantly being someone that can be relied upon and trusted."

White began her tenure with IEHP in 1998, serving the organization in a variety of roles before being named to her current post in 2019. As the health plan's chief operating officer, White is responsible for IEHP's day-to-day operations, implementing strategic initiatives and policies that better serve the organization's members, team members and provider network.

White holds a Bachelor of Science degree in health care management and a Master of Business Administration in management and leadership from the University of La Verne. She is also a champion for breast cancer awareness through advocacy work in the community in memory of her mother, Jo.

SBCMS recognizes individuals and organizations making significant contributions in the field of health care at its annual dinner. A full list of 2025 award winners can be found on the Society's website at www.sbcms.org.
