CARMEL, IN, October 1, 2026 — Michele A. Finley MD Cosmetic Medicine introduced a structured approach to JUVÉDERM® filler planning that incorporates facial assessment, product selection, treatment-area matching, staged volume decisions, and follow-up evaluation.

The updated approach reflects patient interest in subtle facial rejuvenation and treatment planning that considers overall facial balance rather than isolated wrinkles or individual injection sites. The practice evaluates facial proportions, tissue characteristics, previous treatments, treatment goals, and anticipated recovery before determining an appropriate injectable plan.

Treatment planning may include assessment of the cheeks, lips, chin, jawline, temples, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and other areas affected by age-related changes in facial volume and contour. Product selection is based on the treatment area, placement depth, facial anatomy, tissue quality, and the degree of correction being considered.

The practice uses different JUVÉDERM® formulations according to individual treatment requirements. Options discussed in the practice include VOLUMA® XC for selected structural volume and contour concerns, VOLBELLA® XC for certain lip and fine-line applications, Ultra XC for selected lip and facial wrinkle treatments, and Ultra Plus XC for deeper facial folds and wrinkles.

Post-treatment monitoring includes review of temporary swelling, redness, tenderness, firmness, bruising, itching, discoloration, and localized irregularities that may occur after injection.
