DALLAS, April 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP strengthens its Health Care & FDA Practice with the addition of Beverly Oliver as a shareholder in its Dallas office. She joins the firm from SightGrowth Partners, where she served as chief legal officer and general counsel.
Oliver represents private equity funds and private equity-backed health care portfolio companies, health systems, and medical practices across multiple states, handling complex transactions, joint ventures, and integration matters. She counsels clients on health care regulatory compliance, including issues involving CPOM prohibitions, HIPAA, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act, and has handled government inquiries and settlement negotiations with federal agencies. Oliver assists health care companies with corporate and transactional structuring, diligence processes, and post-acquisition integration, and develops compliance programs and policies for health care organizations.
"Beverly is a trusted adviser with deep experience working within the health care sector, spearheading legal transformation in high-growth environments. Her ability to guide organizations through complex change while delivering sound, forward-thinking counsel is what makes her such a powerful and effective strategic change agent," said Richard A. Rosenbaum, Greenberg Traurig's Executive Chairman. "Beverly's business-oriented perspective and extensive in-house counsel background add tremendous value to our growing team in Texas and to our dynamic Health Care & FDA Practice. Her arrival reflects our continued commitment to bringing world-class talent to bear for clients in Texas, where we have been for more than 20 years, across the country, and around the globe."
Oliver's practice encompasses the full intersection of health care transactional and regulatory work, with a focus on supporting private equity-backed entities and health systems through complex mergers and acquisitions, integration, and compliance matters.
"Beverly understands health care not just as a legal discipline, but as an industry. She knows how it operates, how it is regulated, and what is truly at stake when transactions close and the real work begins, which is a true asset for clients," said Lawson S. Parker, co-chair of the firm's Health Care & FDA Practice. "Beverly will bring her experience in regulatory structuring, diligence, and post-closing operational compliance directly to our private equity and other health care clients, and she is uniquely positioned to do so, having lived those challenges from the client's chair."
As general counsel for health care companies, Oliver has overseen legal, compliance, and audit functions, managed legal teams, and worked closely with boards of directors, executive leadership, and private equity sponsors. Her in-house background includes experience with corporate integrity agreements, non-prosecution agreements, self-disclosures, health care regulatory investigations, contract negotiations, physician agreements, and health care system partnerships.
"What stood out about Beverly was her vast experience across the full spectrum of health care law — from private practice to her in-house roles," said Joseph F. Coniglio, co-regional operating shareholder of Texas and managing shareholder of the firm's Dallas office. "She has an invaluable perspective, having handled numerous significant matters from both the client and counsel side of the table. That kind of dual vantage point sharpens a lawyer in ways that are immediately felt by the clients they serve."
"Health care executives and operators are facing real pressures every day, and they need an adviser who has lived that experience, someone who understands not just the legal framework, but what it actually takes to run a health care organization," Oliver said. "Greenberg Traurig's global platform and the depth of its health care practice will allow me to support those clients, while building a practice that is truly my own. I look forward to working on various matters with clients at every stage."
Beyond her legal practice, Beverly is deeply committed to her community, volunteering with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program to provide legal services to those in need and serving as an active member of the American Health Law Association, where she remains engaged in the broader dialogue shaping the future of health law. She also lends her time and energy to Girls on the Run and has completed the MS 150 Cycling Ride on multiple occasions.
