Detritus in recent years turbo charged its growth by bringing on new talent and increasing investment in technology, operations and sales, while branching into new services and markets. Detritus qualified as a 2026 Inc. 5000 company with a 286% surge in revenue from 2022 to 2025, earning the rank of No. 1,222 out of 5,000.

In 2018, co-founders and Savannah childhood friends Sean Dane Kellogg and Max Lemaigre were working in Atlanta when they saw an opportunity for a data-driven platform for sourcing construction-site services.
