Arkestro Expands European Presence to Meet Accelerating Demand for Predictive Procurement

PR Newswire

Nearly $300 million in European spend has moved through Arkestro's platform as EU spend grows 93% year over year

AMSTERDAM, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Arkestro, the leading predictive procurement platform accelerating enterprise scale, today announced at DPW Amsterdam 2026 plans for expansion in Europe amidst significant growth in the region. Arkestro is seeing growing demand from customers expanding their use of predictive procurement across EMEA.

Baseline spend represented in international procurement events grew 330% from 2024 to 2025 and is projected to grow another 47% in 2026, reflecting increasing adoption across the region. The momentum is being driven in part by existing global customers extending Arkestro into additional European teams, categories and supplier networks as they look to make faster procurement decisions, strengthen supplier engagement and respond to ongoing market volatility.

Customers are also expanding their usage of Arkestro's predictive procurement platform within their organizations. European platform users have grown 78% year over year, reflecting a broader shift from isolated procurement events toward more consistent use of predictive procurement and AI across teams, categories and global markets.

Arkestro's European footprint is also expanding across both buyers and suppliers. Those interactions now span across 34 countries, demonstrating the growing reach of predictive procurement across complex, cross-border supplier networks. Across completed European events, customers have generated approximately 10% average savings.

"Europe is an important market for predictive procurement because many of the challenges enterprises are managing, like cost pressure, fragmented supplier networks, regulation and geopolitical volatility, reward organizations that anticipate rather than simply react," said Rob DeSantis, CEO and Co-Founder of Arkestro. "Predictive procurement gives teams a way to understand their options earlier and act quickly with confidence, creating better outcomes for the business and more transparent engagement with their suppliers."

As enterprises contend with changing market and trade conditions, procurement is taking on a more strategic role, especially in Europe. That shift is already underway at BMI, a leading European manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing solutions. BMI Group is using Arkestro to streamline procurement workstreams into a common operating model. Category teams retain ownership while gaining a more consistent way to run events and carry forward insights.

"Arkestro gives us a single source of truth which helps reduce manual work and drives greater efficiency compared with managing negotiations across spreadsheets," said Antonio De Sousa, Group Category Manager, Manufacturing Indirect & E-Sourcing Excellence "It also gives us greater market transparency enabling us to encourage suppliers to put forward their most competitive, realistic offers earlier in the process. At the same time, automated quote analysis and feedback helps shorten timelines and reduce the workload required to negotiate individually with each supplier. As adoption grows across Europe, accounting for local market nuances and supplier relationship dynamics becomes increasingly important in helping our teams adapt."

Arkestro will discuss its European expansion and the future of predictive procurement at DPW Amsterdam, taking place September 30–October 1. Arkestro executives and participating customers will be available for conversations about predictive AI, supplier engagement and the evolving role of procurement in enterprise strategy.

Arkestro will also continue the conversation at Optimal '26, its customer conference taking place October 13–15 in Houston. The annual event brings together procurement, supply chain and business leaders to explore how predictive technologies are helping enterprises move faster, strengthen supplier relationships and drive better outcomes at scale.
